Mission
The mission of the Indian Nurses Association of Illinois (INAI) is to establish a professional body to identify and meet the professional, cultural and social needs unique to nurses of Indian origin and heritage.
Vision
To promote professional excellence in nursing practice and healthcare through the empowerment and renewal of profession and cultural identity of all nurses and nursing students of Indian origin/heritage and to optimize their contribution to health and well being of individuals, families and communities.
Goals
1. Improve professional skills, knowledge, and attitude of members
2. Outreach and guide nursing students, new graduate nurses, and Indian nurses who have arrived from foreign countries recently
3. Encourage social interaction among members
4. Increase community awareness in health related topics
Purpose

Note: All INAI activities will be tied with INAI bylaws and will be connected to INAI general goals that include professional development activities and community services.

– Various workshops/events for members, new graduates, and nursing students
